Data Engineers

Data Engineers use Floe to build governed data products on an existing Floe platform.

Data Engineers target a Platform Environment Contract from the Platform Engineer. You own product source, tests, schedules, metadata, and validation. Platform Engineers own the platform manifest, service access, secrets, and production deployment boundaries.

What You Own

You do not need Floe contributor tooling. Start from a Floe platform that a Platform Engineer has deployed and validated.
